     Hello, my name is James Overton. I teach Government, Economics and World History. This will be my fifth year at Palacios, and my 13th year as an educator. I am the head Soccer coach, and the defensive tackle coach for high school football team/ .   

       I graduated High School from Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca in 1992 and grew up in Port O’Connor. I received my Bachelors degree from Sam Houston State University in 1997. I majored in History with a minor in Geography.   I am married to Melony, and have two Son's; Bryce and Ayden   

       My Tutorial Times are 7:00 - 7:30 AM on Thursday and Friday. my conference period is between 1:50 - 2:40.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Chapter Tests 33.5%
